Adam Woodrow. MSc, BSc (Hons), MSTA

Adam successfully obtained a BSc Hons Sports Therapy degree in 2014; this course provided him with a comprehensive higher education in anatomy, injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. As a youth, Adam had a competitive career within national Rugby Union however, retired during his undergraduate. 

Since graduating Adam has had a large number of professional experiences across the globe within championship football clubs, world-endurance racing teams and GB athletes.

In 2018, Adam has successfully completed his MSc Strength and Conditioning degree.

2018 saw both Matt and Adam travel to Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium to provide performance support to a race team competing in the Blancpain GT Endurance series in the 24hours of Spa. The team were able to provide conditioning and hydration and nutritional support to the drivers and team.

Adam provides educational talks to local athletes and support them with advise and guidance.

Adam was the First Team Therapist at Boreham Wood FC. Adam solely managed the medical and Strength & Conditioning within the first team whilst actively overseeing all injuries within the BW PASE Academy. His role within the football club included assessing, treating and rehabilitating any injured players, providing sport science support and strength and conditioning protocols.

Matt Stebbings. MSc, BSc (Hons)

Matt graduated from the University of Lincoln with an MSc in Sports Science in 2010 after completing his BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science as well as completing industry qualifications in Strength and Conditioning and Weight Lifting more recently. Since graduating Matt has worked with semi-professional football clubs within the Sports Science and Performance Analysis departments as well as currently delivering S&C to the Performance Squads at a Lawn Tennis Club and Athletics Club. Matt has worked individually with a number of local regional swimmers who are pushing for national championships . He has also been involved with an internship with a championship football club in the Performance Analysis department and junior performance tennis players

Matt also delivers functional movement and S&C sessions to a local footballing academy as well as provide educational talks to local athletes and support them with advise and guidance.

In 2017, Matt travelled to Gothenburg, Sweden after being part of the Prep School Lions staff as Head Coach for one of the U11 Boys teams taking part in Gothia World Youth Cup. For 2018, Matt once again headed back to Gothia this year with one of the U12 boys teams. 2019 again saw Matt travel to Sweden, with the U13 boys team. 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Matt has passed his UK Anti Doping Accredited Advisor Assessment. He is a UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) Associate Member as well as a British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) Member. Matt is also an accredited International Society of Performance Analysis in Sport (ISPAS) Level 2 Performance Analyst. Matt also tutors as part of the tutoring team with Football Industry College and Fitness Industry College helping to deliver practical and theory elements of the NCFE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science.

Matt is currently the Physical Performance Coach for Norwich City Women FC (voluntarily). Matt’s role is to lead the physical development of the women’s first team and reserve team. This involves physical preparation during training in ensuring the team are ready for match days. This also includes injury prevention strategies, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, strength and power conditioning and psychological profiling of the players. In addition, Matt assists the Lead Performance Analyst, with filming, analysing, clipping and coding matches including, feeding back to the players and coaches.

Matt's sporting background was predominately swimming, having started at the age of 3 and continued to compete through University and still finds time to train with the local masters sessions. More recently Matt has turned his hand to Skiing and has now been a keen skier for the past 11 years and regular skis abroad each winter and locally during the summer months.

Luke Pearce. BSc (Hons)

Luke recently graduated from the University of Essex with a BSc Hons in Sports Therapy. The degree enhanced his knowledge of the human body and developed methods of both assessments and treatments needed to successfully rehabilitate sports injuries. Placement modules during university also aided professional development with these being carried out with Adam himself at Lowestoft Town FC as well as a clinic at the university. Football has always been a key part of Luke’s life and has played for his local club since he was young. Subsequently this has enabled Luke too to specialise in football haven experienced injuries himself.

Since graduating Luke has continued from his placement working with Adam and now works for Lowestoft Town FC as a physio. This includes pitch side work along with rehabilitating and assessing injured players. Also, he assists Matt with Performance4Sport coaching as well as educating the importance of strengthening and mobility work. Luke also works in his own time with clients assessing and treating injuries which has also given him work with GB athletes.
